How About That

This blog originally began as a place for me to share information about the process of beginning Tidelands Church. While I will continue to share about that process on this blog from time to time, we now have a website for Tidelands. This platform is now a place for me to share personal reflections on life and ministry as well as a place to share resources for other church planters.

As I mentioned, I am working as a “church planter” (organizing pastor) in partnership with Mountain View Presbyterian Church, the Presbytery of North Puget Sound. I am an ordained pastor of the Presbyterian Church (USA) with an M. Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary and an undergraduate degree in religion from Whitworth University. More importantly, I am a husband to my beautiful wife, Kristina. We were married in 1997 and have two boys. We live on Camano Island, Washington and you will frequently find us at the nearest baseball field, soccer field, school gym, restaurant, beach, trail, or out on our boat. If we are not at one of those places we are probably out working in our yard or huddled up next to the fireplace reading books and playing video games.
